WINE HISTORY AND TASTING
Winery story:In 1901, Mr. Leon Galhaud established Maison Galhaud Jiale family. The young agricultural engineer and sapling businessman popularized the technique of grafting vines to combat phylloxera and produce high-quality wines. Mr. Leon Galhaud also became one of the most important local figures in Saint-Emilion. Over the past century, the manor has been passed down in the family. Mr. Jean Francois Galhaud is in charge of the management and winemaking of the winery, and selects a series of wines of "Galle Family" with his winemaking team. Mr. Jean Frangois Galhaud is currently also the president of the association of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Fronsac wine regions, and the vice-chairman of the Federation of Bordeaux wine regions.
Tasting Notes:The aroma of ripe red fruit and the aroma of roasted oak barrels are mixed together to bring a round and full-bodied wine.
