2019 Chateau les Rambauds, Bordeaux AOC

Winery story:The 75-hectare vineyard was established by Bernard Cazade's grandparents in 1912, not far from the town of La Reole, at the southernmost tip of the Gironde vineyards. The former MotoGP champion reinvented himself in 2006, taking over the vineyard, which he converted to organic in 2014 and is now certified organic.
The grapes are harvested mechanically at the optimum ripeness. After the flash relaxation temperature is controlled, the wine is aged for 12 months in a temperature-controlled wine tank.

Tasting Notes:The owner of the winery has produced this round wine with excellent winemaking skills and personal characteristics. Brilliant garnet colour, intense aromas of red fruit, black currant and candied fruit. On the palate rich and concentrated, supported by soft and silky tannins.

Pair with food:Excellent with red meats (beef ribs), game (pheasant, partridge), sauced dishes and cheeses. Taiwanese stir-fry is also a good choice.
