2020 Chateau Haut Nadeau, Bordeaux Superieur

Winery story:Patrick, son and grandson of a winegrower, third generation owner of Chateau Haut Nadeau. Be captivated by the seasons, the rhythm of the harvest and the aromas that fill the cellar1. Patrick feels deeply rooted to the land of his ancestors and is grateful that they passed on such a special soil to him. A professional winemaker, Patrick forged his wine culture through his passion for wine. His various experiences as a winemaker in the Blayais, Bourgeais and Fronsadais regions have allowed him to develop his winemaking knowledge by tasting wines from around the world. After taking over the family winery in 1992, he enjoyed making the wines he loved, authentic and traditional wine styles. His work focuses on the expression of fruit and terroir, the result of a rigorous selection of grape varieties and very precise viticulture techniques.

Tasting Notes:A beautiful deep garnet shade. Aroma of red fruit with hints of vanilla. Good structure, velvety tannins, long and complex finish.

Pair with food:Perfect with steaks (beef steaks), veal steaks, duck breast steaks, stir fry and cheeses.
