WINE HISTORY AND TASTING

Winery story:In 1901, Mr. Leon Galhaud established Maison Galhaud Jiale family. This young agricultural engineer and sapling cultivator popularized the technique of grafting grape saplings to combat phylloxera and produce high-quality wines. Mr. Leon Galhaud also became one of the most important local figures in St. Emilion. Over the past century, the manor has been passed down in the family. Mr. Jean Francois Galhaud is in charge of the management and winemaking of the winery, and selects a series of wines of "Galle Family" with his winemaking team. Mr. Jean Francois Galhaud is also currently the chairman of the association of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Fransac wine regions, and the vice-chairman of the Federation of Bordeaux wine regions.
