“I take great pleasure in introducing this exclusive Bergerac selection ‘ LES ESSAIS’ from château Michel de Montaigne through these two extraordinary vintages.
2005: Beautiful color tile with a nice brilliance. It’s a great surprise on the nose with freshness and sweetness. The concentration of aromas and the structure of the wine is incredible and unexpected. Not evolved at all, the tannins are round and melted. Very pleasant length and perfect for catering.
2010: Deep purple red color for this extraordinary vintage. An explosion of red fruit aromas with the presence of blackcurrant on the first attack. On the palate, there is no acidity. Full and velvety, the tannins are still present but not aggressive to the palate. Round and pleasant body structure with an agreeable finish as well as a very good aging potential.“
